Lead and Shape Care in a Well-Established Service

We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Lead Nurse to join a well-established Nursing and Residential Care Home in Rugby. The service provides high-quality long-term and respite care, including specialist support for individuals living with dementia, within a comfortable and thoughtfully designed setting.

This welcoming home has a long-standing history of delivering compassionate care within the local community, with roots dating back over a century. Now operating as a purpose-built service, it offers modern facilities including private, en-suite accommodation and attractive outdoor spaces for residents and their families.

With approximately 30 beds, this smaller service offers a warm, person-centred environment, supported by a close-knit team and a strong, family-oriented ethos.

The Role

As Clinical Lead, you will play a key role in overseeing the clinical operations of the home, ensuring the highest standards of care are consistently delivered.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and supporting the nursing and care team to deliver outstanding clinical care
  • Overseeing care planning, risk assessments, and clinical governance
  • Ensuring compliance with regulatory and best practice standards
  • Supporting with audits, quality assurance, and continuous improvement
  • Acting as a role model and mentor to nurses and care staff
  • Monitoring residents’ health and responding effectively to clinical changes
  • Liaising with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
  • Supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the service

You will be instrumental in driving a culture of excellence, professionalism, and compassionate care throughout the home.

What We’re Looking For

  • Registered Nurse (RGN, RMN, or RNLD) with a valid NMC pin
  • Previous experience in a senior or leadership role within a care home setting
  • Strong clinical knowledge and leadership capability
  • Experience in dementia care (desirable)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive and organised approach to managing responsibilities
  • A commitment to high-quality, person-centred care and continuous improvement
