Location: Chipping Norton, Oxford
Pay: £14 Per Hour
Hours: 9:00am-3.00pm

A warm, welcoming, and highly regarded elderly care provider based near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire are currently seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join their friendly and dedicated team.

The Role

As an Activities Coordinator, you will be responsible for creating and delivering engaging activities that promote residents’ wellbeing, independence, and quality of life.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning and organising a varied programme of daily activities and events
  • Encouraging residents to participate in hobbies, social activities, and entertainment
  • Supporting residents on a one-to-one and group basis
  • Promoting physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing
  • Building positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues
  • Celebrating special occasions, seasonal events, and community involvement
  • Ensuring activities are tailored to residents’ individual interests and abilities
  • Creating a warm, inclusive, and stimulating environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is caring, creative, and energetic, with a genuine passion for improving the lives of older people.

You will ideally have:

  • Previous experience in an activities or care-based role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A positive, proactive, and compassionate approach
  • Good organisational skills and creativity
  • Confidence working independently and as part of a team
  • An understanding of person-centred care and dementia support
  • A genuine passion for elderly care and resident wellbeing
