Avon Search is currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Home Manager to lead a privately owned residential care home in Doncaster.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced care professional to take the lead at a small, intimate care home supporting just 10 residents. As Home Manager, you will play a key role in the success of the service, working closely with the ownership team to maintain high standards of care and create a welcoming environment where residents can feel at home.

The Role

As Home Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day leadership and management of the home, ensuring high standards of care, regulatory compliance and team performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading, motivating and developing the care team.
• Ensuring consistently high standards of person-centred care.
• Overseeing care planning, audits and quality assurance.
• Maintaining compliance with CQC and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Managing staffing, recruitment and rotas.
• Promoting a positive, supportive and professional team culture.
• Building strong relationships with residents and their families.
• Ensuring the home remains a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment.
• Working closely with the ownership team to support the ongoing development of the service.

About You

• Proven experience as a Home Manager within elderly care.
• Experience working within a residential care setting.
• A good understanding of CQC regulations and compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• The ability to motivate, support and develop a care team.
• A compassionate and approachable management style.
• A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred care.
• A strong commitment to promoting residents’ dignity, independence and wellbeing.
