The Opportunity

Our client, a well-established, family-run residential care provider in the Monton/Salford area, is seeking an experienced Care Team Leader (Days) to join their dedicated team. The home accommodates 19 residents and provides both residential and dementia care, alongside long-term, short-term convalescence, and holiday stays.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated leader to oversee the day shift, ensuring residents receive high-quality, person-centred care in a supportive, homely environment. The role involves leading a small, committed team and maintaining the home’s ethos of dignity, independence, and individuality for every resident.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate the day care team
  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care to 19 residents, including those with dementia
  • Administer medication (training provided if required)
  • Maintain accurate care plans and documentation
  • Support residents’ daily routines, activities, and wellbeing
  • Act as the senior point of contact during the day shift

Candidate Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a senior or team leader role
  • Confident leading a team and working independently
  • Strong communication, organisational, and leadership skills
  • A genuine passion for caring for older people
